MAX4888BETI+

The MAX4888BETI+ is a dual passive switch with up to 8Gbps data rate in 28 pin TQFN package. This dual double pole/double throw (2 x DPDT), high speed passive switch is ideal for switching two half lanes of PCI Express (PCIe) data between two possible destinations. It features a dual digital control input to switch signal paths. The device is fully specified to operate from a single +3.3V (typ) power supply and it supports multiple high speed interfaces up to 8Gbps while maintaining signal integrity in the application.

• Supply voltage range from 3V to 3.6V and VCC supply current of 1mA
• Operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C
• Supports PCIe Gen I, Gen II and Gen III data rates
• Supports up to and including 6.0Gbps SAS/SATA signals
• Supports other high speed interfaces (XAUI)
• Superior bandwidth return loss
• 8.4ohm maximum on-resistance and 1.5ohm maximum on-resistance match between channels at VCC = 3V
• Maximum on-resistance flatness of 1ohm at VCC = 3V
• 43ps propagation delay, switch turn-on time is 65ns & switch turn-off time is 7ns at ZS=ZL=50 ohm
• Differential crosstalk of -30dB & differential off-isolation of -15dB at 0Hz <lt/> f ≤ 2.5GHz
