The MAX982ESA+ is an ultra low power, open drain, dual low voltage comparator in 8 pin NSOIC package. This single/dual supply micropower device draw less than 4μA supply current over temperature. The MAX982 is ideal for 3V or 5V single supply applications. The input voltage ranges from negative supply rail to within 1.3V of positive supply. It provides unique, simple method for adding hysteresis without feedback or complicated equations by using HYST pin and two resistors. The open drain outputs permit wire ORed configurations. The output voltage range of 11V makes the device ideal for level translators and bipolar to single ended converter. The MAX982 is used in battery powered systems, threshold detectors, window comparators and oscillator circuits.

- Propagation delay of 12μs (10mV overdrive)

- Input offset voltage of ±10mV (VCM = 2.5V)
- Common mode rejection ratio of 0.1mV/V and power supply rejection ratio of 0.1mV/V in 5V operation
- Supply current of 3.1μA at TA = +25°C in 5V operation
