The MP700122 from Multicomp Pro is a handheld optical power meter, used to measure absolute optical power or relative loss of optical power through length of fiber optic wires. This product is designed to be durable, the meter can withstand a 2m drop and has a dust/water resistance rating of IP65. Other features include backlight display, flashlight, auto power-off, wavelength store/recall, user calibration and ultra-wide optical power test range. Used in applications such as cable construction and maintenance, optical fiber communication, evaluation of optical equipment, production, installation, operation and maintenance of fiber optic transmission systems, and optical engineering, laboratory, production plant or facility maintenance.
