LT1253 is a low-cost, dual current feedback amplifier for video applications. It is completely isolated except for the power supply pins and therefore has excellent isolation, over 94dB at 5MHz. It significantly reduces costs compared with singles; the number of insertions is reduced and fewer supply bypass capacitors are required. In addition, it cost less per amplifier than single video amplifiers. It is ideal for driving low impedance loads such as cables and filters. The wide bandwidth and high slew rate of this amplifier make driving RGB signals between PCs and workstations easy. The excellent linearity of this amplifier makes it ideal for composite video. Typical applications are RGB cable drivers, composite video cable drivers, gain blocks in IF stages.
- Input offset voltage is 5mV typ (0°C ≤ TA ≤ 70°C, VS=±5V to ±12V)
- Large-signal voltage gain is 1500V/V typ (VS=±5V, VO=±2V, RL=150 ohm, 0 ≤ TA ≤ 70°C, VS=±5V to ±12V)
- Power supply rejection ratio is 70dB typ (VS=±3V to ±12V, 0°C ≤ TA ≤ 70°C)
- Supply current is 11mA max (per amplifier, 0°C ≤ TA ≤ 70°C)
- Common-mode rejection ratio is 65dB typ (VS=±5V, VCM=±2V, 0°C ≤ TA ≤ 70°C)
- Input slew rate is 125V/µs typ (AV=1, 0°C ≤ TA ≤ 70°C, VS=±5V to ±12V)
- Small-signal rise time is 3.5ns typ ( VS=±12V, AV=2, 0°C ≤ TA ≤ 70°C)
- Power supply range from ±2 to ±12V dual, 4 to 24V single
- 8-lead plastic SOIC package
- Operating temperature rating range from 0°C to 70°C
