The MAX4575EUA+ is a ±15KV ESD protected, low voltage, dual, SPST CMOS analogue switch in 8 pin µMAX package. The normally open (NO) pins of this switch are protected against ±15KV ESD without latch-up or damage. The off leakage current is 0.5nA at +25°C. This analogue switch is suitable for low distortion audio applications and it is preferred solution over mechanical relays in automated test equipment or applications where current switching is required. It has low power requirements (0.5µW) and requires less board space. The MAX4575 is more reliable than mechanical relays. It is controlled by TTL/CMOS input voltage levels. The device maximum on-resistance is 70 ohm and matched between switches to 2ohm and flat (4ohm) over the specified signal range at TA = 25°C with single 5V supply. It is used in battery powered systems, audio and video signal routing, low voltage data acquisition systems, sample and hold circuits, communications circuits and relay replacement applications.
