Product Information
Product Overview
LTZ1000 is an ultra-stable temperature controllable reference. It is designed to provide 7V outputs with temperature drifts of 0.05ppm/°C, about 1.2µVP-P of noise and long-term stability of 2µV/√KHz. Included on the chip is a subsurface Zener reference, a heater resistor for temperature stabilization, and a temperature sensing transistor. External circuitry is used to set operating currents and to temperature stabilize the reference. This allows maximum flexibility and best long-term stability and noise. Application includes voltmeters, calibrators, standard cells, scales, and low noise RF oscillators.
- Very low hysteresis, temperature stabilized
- Zener voltage range from 7.0 to 7.5V (luz=5mA, (VZ + VBEQ1) IQ1=100µA)
- Typical zener change with current is 80mV (1mA ≤ IZ <lt/> 5mA)
- Typical zener leakage current is 20µA (VZ=5V)
- Typical zener noise is 1.2µVP-P (luz=5mA, 0.1Hz <lt/> f <lt/> 10Hz, 1Q1=100µA)
- Heater resistance range from 200 to 420 ohm (IL ≤ 100µA)
- Typical transistor Q1 breakdown is 20V (IC=10µA, LVCEO)
- Q1, Q2 current gain range from 80 to 450 (IC=100µA)
- Typical thermal resistance is 80°C/W (time=5 Minutes)
- 8-lead TO-5 Can package, specified temperature range from -55°C to 125°C
