Infineon XENSIV™ Kit with PAS CO₂ Sensor
The fastest way to connect sensors to the cloud
We have worked with Infineon to create an out-of-box demonstration showing how quickly and easily users can connect the XENSIV™ sensor kit to a cloud service using Avnet IoTConnect® solution to accelerate data collection for environmental monitoring to make data derive decisions.
The XENSIV™ connected sensor kit is ideal for battery-powered IoT devices. Its small size hides a lot of performance. With both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, the kit includes a CO₂ sensor and the OPTIGA™ Trust M security device. The kit works with IoTConnect’s Secure Device Management features to provide IoT connectivity with total end-to-end security.

IoTConnect features elements that integrate into both endpoints and cloud platforms to create secure end-to-end connections with minimal configuration. In addition, IoTConnect provides web-based dashboards that make it easy to interact with your IoT application from anywhere. With diverse connectivity options, strong data protection measures, and true scaling capabilities, IoTConnect empowers organizations to leverage the full potential of IoT technology and accelerate digital transformation.

This dynamic dashboard showcases telemetry data from the major sensors on the board including position, temperature, pressure, and humidity sensors. The dashboard can also issue commands directly to the device and gives access to needed resources.

The Entity Management feature of IoTConnect enables separation by device location through child entities. This feature can also be used to create a multi-tenancy environment where solutions can be used by multiple companies within a single entity.

IoTConnect’s Device Rule feature enables the user to set thresholds based on fixed attributes or smart rules using logic. Device rules can be set to trigger a command to the device, push a notification in IoTConnect or even text and email the user.

IoTConnect features a roles and responsibilities manager. Using this tool, separate roles can be created by company to manage features like OTA updates, device onboarding, template creation, certificate management, and more.

Using the template management feature, a user can create and assign templates for one or many devices. These templates can have specific authentication types, device attributes for MQTT topics, and commands all mapped directly to the device.

The OTA update feature enables users to upload custom firmware, set which devices to deliver the update to, and schedule when the update will occur. Users can create hardware and software versions and test OTA updates before pushing to live devices.
