VN330SPTR-E is a quad, high-side smart power solid-state relay. It is a monolithic device developed using VIPower technology, intended to drive four independent resistive or inductive loads with one side connected to ground. Active current limitation prevents dropping of the system power supply in case of a shorted load. Built-in thermal shutdown protects the chip from overtemperature and short-circuit. The open drain diagnostic output indicates overtemperature conditions. The application includes programmable logic control, industrial PC peripheral input/output, and numerical control machines.
- Input clamp voltage is -0.7V typ (IIN = -1mA)
- Digital input clamped at 32 V minimum voltage, shorted load and overtemperature protections
- Built-in current limiter, undervoltage shutdown, open drain diagnostic output
- Fast demagnetization of inductive loads, conforms to IEC 61131-2
- Supply voltage range from 10 to 36V (-40 to 125°C)
- On-state resistance is 0.2ohm max (IOUT = 0.5 A at TJ = 25°C)
- Supply current is 1mA max (all channels OFF, 10 to 36V, -40 to 125°C)
- Input clamp voltage is 36V typ (IIN = 1mA, 10 to 36V, -40 to 125°C)
- Thermal reset temperature is 155°C typ (10 to 36V, -40 to 125°C)
- PowerSO-10 package, operating temperature range from -40°C to 125°C
