AD7091 is a 12bit successive approximation register analogue-to-digital converter (SAR ADC) that offers ultralow power consumption. It also features an on-chip conversion clock and a high speed serial interface. The AD7091 uses advanced design and process techniques to achieve very low power dissipation at high throughput rates. Typical applications include battery-powered systems (handheld meters, medical instruments, mobile communications) instrumentation and control systems, data acquisition systems, optical sensors, diagnostic/monitoring functions and energy harvesting.
- Specified for VDD of 2.09V to 5.25V
- Fast throughput rate of 1MSPS and INL of ±1LSB maximum
- Analog input range of 0V to VDD
- Ultralow power: 367μA typical at 3V and 1MSPS and 324nA typical at 3V in power-down mode
- Reference provided by VDD
- Flexible power/throughput rate management
- High speed serial interface: SPI®-/QSPI™-/MICROWIRE®-/DSP-compatible
- Busy indicator and power-down mode
- 8 lead LFCSP package
- Operating temperature range from -40 to 125°C
