SMX-2002-12 is a peripheral PXIe SPDT switch module capable of switching up to 16A. As a high current switch module, possible applications include AC line power switching; switching AC or DC power supplies; controlling/driving relays for industrial machines, such as robotics and numerical control machines; automotive engine control; and solenoid switching. The digital input lines on the SMX-2002 front panel allow the user to isolate the UUT and/or interface by forcing all relays to their normally open state when a fault condition occurs. This approach instantly removes all power to the switches and the UUT/interface is functionally disconnected from the switch module.
