Product Information
Product Overview
The MMA7455LR1 is a 3-axis low power capacitive Micromachined Accelerometer features signal conditioning, a low pass filter, temperature compensation, self-test, configurable to detect zero-g through interrupt pins (INT1 or INT2) and pulse detect for quick motion detection. Zero-g offset and sensitivity are factory set and require no external devices. The zero-g offset can be customer calibrated using assigned zero-g registers and g-select which allows for command selection for three acceleration ranges (2g/4g/8g). The MMA745xL series includes a standby mode that makes it ideal for handheld battery-powered electronics.
- Self-test for Z-axis
- User assigned registers for offset calibration
- Programmable threshold interrupt output
- Level detection for motion recognition (shock, vibration, freefall)
- Pulse detection for single or double pulse recognition
- Robust design and high shock survivability
- Environmentally preferred product
Applications
Consumer Electronics, Sensing & Instrumentation, Computers & Computer Peripherals, Metering
Warnings
Although the NXP accelerometer contains internal 2000V ESD protection circuitry, extra precaution must be taken by the user to protect the chip from ESD.
